Deborah Tussey is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the T.C. Williams School of Law, University of Richmond. She received a B.A., with highest honors, from the College of William and Mary, a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, and an LL.M. from Harvard Law School. Prior to commencing her teaching career, she worked for a number of years in legal publishing, serving as Editor-in-Chief of the Michie Company, a subsidiary of Lexis. Professor Tussey teaches Intellectual Property, Computer Law, Antitrust, and Contracts. She writes, and frequently speaks, on intellectual property and cyberlaw issues, and recently completed an article entitled From Fan Sites of Filesharing: Personal Use in Cyberspace. She is currently engaged in creating and teaching an online cyberlaw course tailored for in-house lawyers and business executives, which is offered through the University of Richmond School of Continuing Studies. Professor Tussey is a member of the Advisory Committee on UCITA of the VA Joint Commission on Technology and Science (JCOTS).
